I was approached by a client regarding their website and how much they were paying but had no control or updates. The website was a static website created through WordPress. Using the same design I converted the website to a NextJS website with a CMS for controlling assets. Now the website on build will grab the assets from the CMS (Strapi.io) and render as if a static website. The webpage not only loads 20% faster than the previous website, but with NextJS it is better suited for SEO. The other, and potentially largest upgrade is the fact the client can update any asset on their website through the CMS and will only need developer help if they require updates and/or upgrades to the website.
